In a heartwarming display of compassion, Mexico police officer Maria Lopez has been promoted for breastfeeding a baby boy who had gone two days without food following the devastation of Hurricane Otis. During a rescue mission in one of the hardest-hit areas, Officer Lopez found the distressed infant, separated from his family and dangerously malnourished. With no other options available, the mother of two selflessly breastfed the baby, providing the nourishment he desperately needed.
Lopez’s extraordinary act did not go unnoticed. Her superiors recognized her bravery and compassion, awarding her a well-deserved promotion. Police Chief Ricardo Morales praised her, stating, “Officer Lopez’s actions exemplify the core values of our force: courage, compassion, and selflessness.”
