AfriLabs and UM6P Ventures Forge One-Year Partnership to Bolster African Entrepreneurship

AfriLabs, the continent’s leading hub network, and UM6P Ventures, the investment arm of the Moroccan University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, have entered into a strategic one-year partnership. This collaboration aims to implement a series of initiatives designed to stimulate and develop African entrepreneurship.

AfriLabs, renowned for its commitment to driving innovation and entrepreneurship, has been instrumental in uniting technology centers, startups, investors, and other vital stakeholders across the continent. With a recently expanded network now encompassing 478 hubs across 260 cities in 53 African countries, AfriLabs continues to solidify its position as a key player in Africa’s tech ecosystem.

UM6P Ventures, the venture capital branch of the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, is dedicated to promoting scientific innovation and entrepreneurship. By focusing on early-stage investments in digital transformation and deep tech, UM6P Ventures is making strides in advancing technological progress and fostering a culture of innovation within Morocco and beyond.

Through this one-year partnership, AfriLabs and UM6P Ventures will collaborate on several crucial initiatives to promote scientific innovation and entrepreneurship across Africa. Startups within the UM6P ecosystem will benefit from comprehensive support, including mentorship, resources, and access to AfriLabs’ extensive network of over 450 technology innovation centers across 53 African countries.
