The 2024/2025 coffee season’s Sale 18 took place on February 11, 2025, at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange, located on the 2nd floor of Wakulima House along Haile Selassie Avenue, as well as on online platforms.
A total of 33,673 bags (50 kg each) of coffee were traded, marking a 2% increase from the 32,801 bags traded in Sale 17 the previous week. The average price rose by 4% to $383 per 50 kg bag, up from $368 in Sale 17. This translates to $7.7 per kilogram of clean coffee, Kshs 152 per kilogram of cherry gross, or Kshs 122 per kilogram to the farmer.

Sale 18 Market Overview
The highest price achieved was $459 per 50 kg bag, a 3% increase from the $446 recorded in Sale 17. This top price was secured by coffee from the MUTUYA Factory/Wet Mill (Factory Code: XAA01F10), part of the Gititu Farmers Cooperative Society in Kiambu County.
