The 2024/2025 coffee season’s Sale 22 took place on March 11th, 2025, at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange on the 2nd floor of Wakulima House along Haile Selassie Avenue and on online platforms.
A total of 28,454 bags (50 kg each) of coffee were traded, marking a 16% decrease from the 34,008 bags traded in Sale 21 the previous week. The average price fell slightly to USD 342 per 50 kg bag, down from USD 349 per bag in Sale 21. This average price translates to $6.8 per kilogram of clean coffee, Ksh 135 per kilogram of cherry gross, or Ksh 108 per kilogram to the farmer.
The highest price achieved was USD 459 per 50 kg bag, slightly increasing from the USD 450 recorded in Sale 21. Coffee from the KAMOKO Factory/ Wet Mill (Factory Code: XAC004F06), part of Othaya FCS in NYERI County, secured this top price.

- Grade Distribution: Grades AA and AB comprised 17,107 bags, representing 60% of the total traded volume.
