Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has openly criticised President William Ruto’s leadership style, alleging that the President consistently disregards advice from his advisors. In a pointed statement, Owino claimed that Ruto paradoxically instructs his advisors on how to counsel him, rendering their roles ineffective.
Speaking at a recent press conference, Babu Owino highlighted the irony and potential dangers of a leader who does not heed counsel from those appointed to provide it. “I know that you can’t advise President Ruto,” Owino remarked. “He has advisors, but Ruto advises his advisors on how to advise him. He doesn’t take any advice.”
