Carol Sonnie Reaches 100K YouTube Subscribers Amid Personal Triumphs and Challenges

Kenyan content creator Carol Sonnie is celebrating a significant milestone in her career after hitting 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. Sonnie, who has been steadily growing her presence on the platform, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fans on social media. Overwhelmed with emotion, she acknowledged the unwavering support from her followers, which she attributes to her rapid success.

“Thank you guys for 100,000 subscribers, I am very emotional,” Sonnie shared in her post. “I knew I was gonna hit 100K subscribers but I never thought it would be this soon. I do not take you for granted. God is a God of second chances. Thank you for doing it for me and for my child. Thank you for believing in me even when I did not believe in myself.”

This milestone is particularly poignant for Sonnie, coming at a time when she is in the public eye due to personal matters involving her former partner, comedian Mulamwah, and his current partner, Ruth K. Recently, Mulamwah and Ruth K unveiled their son’s face to the public, sparking conversations about their blended family dynamics.

In a candid interview with Jeff Kuria, Sonnie opened up about her daughter Keilah’s relationship with her father, Mulamwah. Kuria’s questions aimed to clarify the current state of their co-parenting arrangement, touching on past conflicts and the path to reconciliation.

“Generally, how is his relationship with her? Have you healed and finally allowed him to see his daughter or are you still angry?” Kuria asked.

Sonnie, maintaining a composed demeanor, laughed and replied, “My relationship with my daughter is perfect. His relationship with her is sawa.”

Jeff, seeking a more definitive answer, pressed further, asking, “What about the relationship between the girl and her father?”

Sonnie, repeating her earlier response, insisted, “It’s sawa.” Despite Kuria’s persistent questioning, Sonnie remained firm, denying any unresolved issues, “It’s sawa,” she reiterated, underscoring her point.

Sonnie’s openness extended to discussing the backlash she faced after initially restricting Mulamwah’s access to their daughter. This decision had led to a public dispute, with many quick to pass judgment on her actions. Sonnie reflected on the harsh scrutiny and the toll it took on her, yet she emphasized her commitment to doing what she believed was best for her child.
