What we often forget is that the excess need for digestion drains energy and impacts our day-to-day lives. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t lost 100 lbs in 2007, a journey that significantly boosted my confidence. Managing a blog and business full-time, I gained 15 pounds along the way. This experience taught me a valuable lesson: what good is wealth if you don’t have your health? It’s crucial to stop mindlessly eating, to stop eating long before feeling full, and to only eat when truly hungry.
Exercise is just as essential as mindful eating. We should all engage in enough physical activity to work up a sweat at least three times a week. Regular exercise provides energy, emotional well-being, and cognitive benefits, enabling us to think better and work faster. This routine has become a cornerstone of my life, especially since taking my business full-time.
