Education Ministry Delays Second Term Halfterm by a Week Due to Rain-Induced Late Opening

The Ministry of Education, led by PS Belio Kipsang, has announced a delay in the second term halfterm for students across the country. The decision comes as a result of the late opening of schools caused by heavy rains, which disrupted the academic calendar.

PS Belio Kipsang stated that learners will now take a break from June 26th to June 28th, providing them with an opportunity to recharge before resuming classes. This delay aims to compensate for lost time and ensure that students receive the full benefit of the academic term despite the weather-related challenges.
