Rachel Ruto Launches School Milk Programme in Migori
First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, in partnership with the Kenya Dairy Board (KDB) and the State Department for Livestock Development, will launch a pilot school milk programme in Migori County today. The initiative aims to boost nutrition among schoolchildren while supporting local dairy farmers. She will be accompanied by Principal Secretaries Jonathan Mueke (Livestock Development) and Joseph Motari (Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs). KDB Managing Director Margaret Kibogy and Migori Governor Ochillo Ayacko will also be present.

Launch of Kenya Women and Children’s Wellness Center (KWCWC) GBV Medical Clinic
Deloris Jordan, founder of the James R. Jordan Foundation and mother to basketball legend Michael Jordan, will launch the Gender-Based Violence Recovery Centre (GBVRC) Medical Clinic under the Kenya Women and Children’s Wellness Center (KWCWC). The facility, located in Mirema Drive, Kasarani, will be Kenya’s second-largest GBV medical clinic, featuring over 33 outpatient consultation rooms and state-of-the-art laboratories. The event will be presided over by Medical Services Principal Secretary Harry Kimtai and attended by representatives from various organizations combating gender-based violence.
ACA Unveils Bleep App to Combat Counterfeit Trade
The Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA), in partnership with the Anti-Counterfeit Network (ACN) Uganda, will launch the Bleep App—a cutting-edge solution powered by Cypheme technology to fight cross-border counterfeit trade. ACA Executive Director Robi Njoroge, ACN Chairman Fred Muwema, and ACN representative Milka Singh will be present at the launch, taking place at the ACA headquarters in Nairobi’s Industrial Area.
