“Let me appreciate the fact that Africa has the most beautiful human beings, and on top of that, style is over the top!” she enthused while finalizing her business and outfit for the night.
Despite being naturally shy, Anita revealed that she had enjoyed mingling with other attendees the previous evening as final preparations took place. She praised the organizers and guests, sharing that the glimpses she had seen of the upcoming red carpet looks were nothing short of breathtaking.
Good afternoon, it is the day of the Trace Awards Ceremony, and I’m so glad it is in the evening because it is so hot! I’m glad we get to just chill during the day,” Anita shared, highlighting Zanzibar’s scorching temperatures. She pointed out that wearing full glam makeup and elaborate outfits during the day would have been a challenge.
Having already witnessed some of the outfit fittings, Anita is eagerly awaiting the full red carpet spectacle. “Can I just say it has been one of the most visually appealing days of my life… well, yesterday,” she reflected. “Just style! Fashion! Art! The way everybody was putting their outfits together and how they performed it has all been very lovely.”
Anita is determined to capture and share as much of the red carpet experience as possible, provided she is allowed to film at the event. She explained that celebrities are given a specific time slot for their photo ops before exiting to avoid crowding.
