Renowned radio personality and content creator Azziad Nasenya has spoken out against claims that she has taken on debt to support her glamorous lifestyle. Addressing the rumors during her Sound City Radio show, Habari Shuffle, Azziad dismissed allegations that she borrows money to maintain her public image.
In recent days, social media has been buzzing with speculation about Azziad’s financial status, with some critics accusing her of sinking into debt to sustain her lifestyle. However, the media personality has now set the record straight, affirming that her success is the result of years of hard work, smart investments, and consistency.
Speaking via her Instagram stories on Tuesday, Azziad likened social media to a giant movie set where anyone can create a storyline. She acknowledged the ongoing rumors but emphasized that she does not need loans to fund her lifestyle.
“I don’t borrow to fund my lifestyle because I don’t need to. What you forget is that this did not start today; I have been building, working, and investing in myself for years,” she said.
Azziad further elaborated that her journey has been one of dedication and sacrifice. She attributed her achievements to her commitment to her craft and her resilience in the face of criticism. She noted that while negative stories about her may trend, her consistency and hard work often go unnoticed.
“This idea that I took loans to fund my glamorous image is just that—a storyline, a trending topic for a few days. What does not trend is my hard work, consistency, and my brand,” she asserted.
Regarding any outstanding financial obligations, Azziad clarified that she is directly handling matters with the concerned parties. She emphasized that real responsibility is demonstrated through actions, not social media discussions.
“Real responsibility does not happen in comment sections; it happens in actions,” she stated.
Azziad also encouraged young Kenyans, particularly women, to remain steadfast in their pursuits and not be deterred by unfounded rumors. She urged them to stay focused on their goals, knowing that their hard work would ultimately overshadow gossip.
“If you have ever felt misunderstood or had your hard work questioned, just know that your truth is not up for debate,” she concluded.
