When asked about the most financially challenging moment he had ever faced, Baba Talisha recalled a time in 2018 when he could barely afford food for his family. He recounted leaving his late wife and child to eat plain rice and sleep on an empty stomach, as he had no money and his rent was unpaid.
He also remembered his days as a student at Kenyatta University when he had to trek long distances to Githurai because he couldn’t afford the bus fare. Despite these hardships, he remained determined to succeed. He emphasized that struggles and hardships are part of the journey to success and that young people must sometimes endure difficulties before achieving their dreams. Some highlighted moments of irony, such as one individual who had a luxury car but lacked the money to fix a flat tire, which became a wake-up call about financial discipline and the importance of liquidity.
In other developments, Baba Talisha was recently involved in a road accident shortly after marking the anniversary of his late wife’s passing. He shared a video of the vehicle he had been traveling in—a double-cabin pickup truck—which had sustained significant damage. The rear lights were smashed, the front was dented, and the side panels were also damaged.
Despite the accident, Baba Talisha credited divine intervention for his survival and expressed gratitude for being safe. He also rebuked negative forces and encouraged people to be cautious on the road. Many extended their support and urged him to take extra precautions while traveling.
