At just 22, Claudia Naisabwa has firmly established herself as a rising star in Kenya’s entertainment industry. From MC gigs and content creation to scriptwriting and acting, the Samburu-born media personality is proving to be a force to reckon with. Now, she’s taking her talents to the next level as the host of Take Me Home Season 2, stepping into the role previously held by King Kalala.
The popular reality dating show, which airs exclusively on Showmax, follows three couples on the brink of breaking up. They are whisked away to a luxurious villa, but with a shocking twist—their exes are also invited. The explosive setup leads to emotional dates, heartfelt conversations, and intense drama as the couples face the ultimate test of their relationships.
This season features an electrifying cast, including content creator Georgina Njenga and her ex, former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya, former TikTok power couple Dance General and Joisij Smile, as well as rising TikTok stars Chase Gommans and Prince Newton. With such a lineup, viewers can expect a rollercoaster of emotions and dramatic twists.
In an exclusive interview, Claudia opened up about taking over the hosting duties from King Kalala, revealing that she felt no pressure stepping into the role. “Kalala was a fantastic host with her unique style. I have my own way of presenting, which I call ‘The Claudia Way,’” she shared. “I wouldn’t compare us but rather celebrate our differences.”
To prepare for the role, Claudia watched Season 1 to understand the show’s tone and structure. While her previous hosting experience involved high-pressure live productions, this show allowed her more flexibility, making it a refreshing and enjoyable challenge. “It was easier to connect with the participants and bring my authentic self to the role,” she added.
One of the most memorable moments for Claudia was a particularly heated exchange between participants. “One of them was so funny that keeping a straight face was nearly impossible,” she recalled. “Watching their dynamics evolve from fights to friendships was fascinating.”
Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Claudia’s wardrobe team ensured she looked stunning throughout the season. Her favorite outfits included a dazzling panel dress and an elegant final look that made her feel “like a million bucks.”
When asked about her ideal partner, Claudia admitted she likes them “tall, dark, and handsome, with dreads and a great smile.”
