Diana Bahati, popularly known as Diana B, has responded to claims that she is a bad influence on her husband, musician Bahati. The YouTuber and content creator, who occasionally dabbles in rap, dismissed the accusations as baseless and amusing.
Reflecting on her past, Diana openly admitted that her journey has been far from perfect. “I’ve made choices I’m not proud of, but they are part of my journey. I used to date different men for financial support one paid my rent, another handled my shopping, and another took care of my wardrobe.” However, she emphasized that she has grown from those experiences and is now focused on her family and career.
Now a mother, Diana made it clear that she has no plans to expand her family further. “I’ve had enough children. No more morning sickness for me,” she stated firmly.
Diana also recalled a difficult moment in her marriage when Bahati gave his jacket to a female fan after she twerked on him during a performance. “That really hurt me,” she admitted, highlighting the challenges that come with being in the public eye.
Addressing the claims that she influenced Bahati’s transition from gospel to secular music, Diana found the accusations ridiculous. “People say I’ve corrupted him, but I ask myself, how? Isn’t he a grown man capable of making his own decisions?” she questioned. She reiterated that Bahati’s career choices are his own and should not be attributed to her.
Regarding her faith, Diana stressed that her relationship with God is personal. “I’m very much saved. Just because I enjoy life doesn’t mean people should judge me. Let the Lord be my judge.”
Diana also shared insights into what makes her marriage work, emphasizing the importance of intimacy, friendship, and understanding. “Sex is essential. Also, being friends with your partner and understanding that you’re two different people helps in accommodating each other.”
She acknowledged that disagreements are part of any marriage but emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence. “At the start, I would overreact and raise my voice, but over time, I realized staying calm is more effective—especially since Bahati is also argumentative. This has made resolving conflicts much easier.”
Diana’s candidness about her past, faith, and marriage offers a glimpse into her personal growth and the dynamics of her relationship with Bahati. Despite the criticism, she remains steadfast in her beliefs and her journey.
