Kenyan celebrity couple Diana Marua and Bahati have revealed plans to move into a new, more luxurious home. The couple, known for their extravagant lifestyle, expressed their desire for an upgrade, citing space constraints and the need for better amenities.
During an interview with YouTuber Commentator 254, Bahati disclosed that Diana is not interested in renovating their current mansion but wants a brand-new house. One of the key reasons for the move is to ensure better security and space for their high-end cars, including Diana’s custom pink G-Wagon.
“Diana does not want our current house renovated; she wants a new house. She wants a new house where the G-Wagon will be safe. When I was gifting Diana this house, I was in a rush because I was joining politics. We have six cars, and the parking here can only accommodate two,” Bahati explained.
Diana echoed her husband’s sentiments, emphasizing that their growing family needs a more spacious and comfortable home. She also shared her vision for their next residence, which will feature premium amenities.
“My whole family is here, and the house is a bit squeezed; it’s time for growth. The next house must have a helipad and a swimming pool,” Diana stated.
Bahati, who has built a reputation for showering his wife with lavish gifts, addressed critics who accuse him of flaunting his wealth. He defended his actions, emphasizing that gifting is his love language and a way to appreciate Diana for being a great partner and mother to their children.
“You cannot quantify the value of a woman who has given you kids. When you love someone as a man, you use your love language to show them that. My love language is gifting, and I would do anything to make my wife happy,” he said.
The couple recently made headlines when Bahati gifted Diana a construction site where 42 apartment units will be developed, with a penthouse on the top floor. Additionally, he surprised Diana’s father with a Toyota Axio.
Beyond personal investments, Bahati also reflected on his political journey, stating that despite his unsuccessful Mathare parliamentary bid in 2022, he remains committed to giving back to the community.
“This year, I will be creating a lot of opportunities for the people of Nairobi. It is time for me to give back to those who have supported me,” he concluded.
