Gospel singer Eunice Njeri recently shared a deeply personal testimony about how giving birth to her son miraculously healed her from severe fibroids. For years, Eunice battled the debilitating condition, which not only affected her health but also influenced some of the major life decisions she made along the way.
In a recent church service, Eunice revealed that she had spent many years longing for marriage and motherhood but was hindered by health challenges. Despite everything being seemingly intact in her life, marriage remained elusive until she finally tied the knot at the age of 38. However, her journey was far from conventional. She recounted struggling with severe fibroids that caused excessive bleeding, forcing her to wear black clothing for years to avoid embarrassment.
Eunice expressed her amazement at how her pregnancy defied medical expectations. She shared that doctors were perplexed by how the condition had seemingly vanished after childbirth. “I bled for many years, and when I got pregnant, the doctors were shocked. They said it was as if my child had healed me. God can also heal you,” she declared, attributing her healing to divine intervention.
Her journey to marriage was tumultuous. In 2016, Eunice briefly married U.S.-based Kenyan Isaac Bukasa, also known as Izzo. However, the marriage ended abruptly after just a day. Reflecting on that period, Eunice admitted that her deteriorating health played a significant role in her decision to marry. “I was very sick at the time. I had fibroids, was bleeding excessively, and had multiple transfusions. In the midst of that confusion, I felt like I needed to get married,” she confessed in a past interview.
Eunice later underwent surgery to treat the condition, which prompted deep self-reflection. She realized that making decisions based on illness or desperation could lead to unintended consequences. “After the surgery, I thought to myself—nothing in this world should ever make you rush into decisions, not even sickness. I hurt many people with my choices,” she admitted, referring to her ex-husband.
In 2021, Eunice found love again and remarried in a private ceremony. Last year, she was blessed with a son, a miracle that she believes led to her complete healing. Today, Eunice Njeri stands as a testimony to the power of faith, resilience, and divine healing. Her story serves as an inspiration to many facing similar struggles, reminding them that even in the darkest moments, hope and restoration are possible.
