Hailey Bieber has dismissed claims of an ongoing feud with Selena Gomez after a TikTok user accused her of liking a shady post about the singer and her fiancé, Benny Blanco. The 28-year-old model’s representatives have categorically denied the allegations, calling them a fabricated attempt to reignite an outdated narrative.
A TikTok user named Courtney initially shared images from Gomez and Blanco’s recent Interview cover shoot, implying that the photos were unflattering. She later alleged that Hailey had liked the post, sharing a supposed screenshot as proof. In a follow-up video on March 6, the user claimed, “Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok. Don’t necessarily come for me in the comments, but I was being a little shady to Selena Gomez.”
However, Hailey’s representatives told Us Weekly, “This never happened. This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative.”
Hailey has consistently attempted to distance herself from the drama surrounding Gomez, who previously dated her husband, Justin Bieber. Despite ongoing fan speculation and online discourse, Hailey publicly showed support for Gomez and Blanco’s engagement announcement in December 2024 by liking their post.
The model has spoken out against the negative effects of such narratives. In a July 2023 appearance on The Circuit, she condemned the divisive nature of fan-created rivalries, saying, “This is not about Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez. This is about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and perpetuated narratives. That can be really dangerous.” She further emphasized her desire to promote unity, adding, “I want to be able to bring people together.”
Gomez herself has also urged her fans to stop spreading hate. In February 2023, she addressed the harassment Hailey had been receiving, writing on her Instagram Story, “This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
Despite their efforts to shut down the rumors, online discourse surrounding their relationship persists. Both women continue to promote positivity, hoping to move beyond the narrative of rivalry.
