Kenyan entertainer Remcy Don, often referred to as the country’s version of Jason Derulo, has denied rumors that he is the father of comedian Mammito’s child. These rumors circulated after Don posted a picture of himself holding a newborn, leading some to make assumptions about his involvement in Mammito’s recent motherhood.
In a passionate plea, Don took to social media to clear the air, asking fans and bloggers to stop making assumptions about his personal life. “Please, please, please… I am not anyone’s baby daddy. Bloggers, how about you consult us before publishing anything about us? How do you even know who someone’s baby daddy is?” he wrote. He emphasized that such speculations are disrespectful and urged people to be more considerate of one another. He further stated, “I have a family and a life to take care of,” adding that it was important to treat each other with respect, especially when it comes to personal matters.
The rumors about Don being the father of Mammito’s child began after he posted a picture on social media captioned, “Goodnight from me and ours.” Some followers misinterpreted the post and assumed the newborn in the image was his child. Mammito, who had recently introduced her daughter on social media, did not clarify the situation, and the speculation continued to spread.
Mammito, who welcomed her daughter a few weeks ago, had previously shared that she wanted to keep her personal life, especially her relationship, out of the limelight. In an interview, she revealed that her partner is not involved in the entertainment industry and prefers to maintain a low profile. “He is someone’s son. He is not in the industry, and I think that is what I wanted,” she explained. “I wanted someone who does something completely different, as I had dated within the entertainment industry before and didn’t want to repeat that.” She further added that her partner’s privacy is important to her, as she does not want him to face unnecessary public scrutiny. “I will keep him private because that is what you do in this city of Nairobi. Mammito also shared some of her pregnancy cravings, mentioning that she had a strong desire for goat soup and tongue cooked with pilipili (a type of pepper). She expressed her preference for “beaten” soup, noting that she cannot eat mutton due to its taste, which she finds unappealing.
