Prophet Peter K of Christ Impact Church has finally spoken out following weeks of intense scrutiny and disturbing allegations. The preacher was recently arrested and charged in a Nakuru court over accusations of indecency, sparking a wave of public discussion and speculation.
In a heartfelt interview delivered in Kikuyu, Prophet Peter K firmly denied all claims that he made inappropriate advances towards men. He shared how deeply the news affected him, saying it caught him completely off guard. “When I heard I was trending on TikTok, I was shocked. I got diarrhoea on the spot—not because I’m guilty, but because I felt like my name and reputation were completely destroyed,” he said.
The preacher addressed speculation surrounding his arrest, especially questions about the young man who was taken into custody alongside him. Prophet Peter clarified that the man is his spiritual son and not involved in any inappropriate relationship. He stressed that he has nothing to hide and doesn’t intend to change how he interacts with people. “Just because this happened doesn’t mean I’ll stop being around men to prove something. There’s nothing going on there,” he insisted.
He also opened up emotionally about the unwavering support he received from his family during the ordeal, particularly from his mother. He revealed that she stood by him in prayer and fasting throughout the turbulent period. Upon his release, he went straight to see her, acknowledging the strength she gave him.
Prophet Peter also spoke about his wife, who is currently living abroad. Despite the physical distance, she remained a steadfast source of encouragement. According to the preacher, when he explained the situation to her, she urged him to keep praying and to stay strong in his faith.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Prophet Peter says he holds no anger or bitterness toward those accusing him. He has chosen to forgive them and is placing everything in God’s hands. “I forgive them,” he said, “because bitterness will only weigh me down. Let God be the judge.”
The accusations had sparked a firestorm on social media and led to heated reactions from the public. The situation reached a boiling point on March 2, when an angry crowd vandalized his church in Ruiru, further deepening the crisis facing the ministry.
Multiple reports from young men have since surfaced, with the initial complaint reportedly coming from a man in his 30s based in Nakuru. This prompted authorities to initiate an investigation, culminating in the preacher’s arrest and subsequent court appearance.
Amid the controversy, reactions have been divided. While some have stood by Prophet Peter, advocating for patience until the court’s verdict is delivered, others have expressed skepticism, demanding accountability and transparency. Still, the preacher remains adamant that he is innocent and trusts that the truth will eventually prevail.
As the case continues to unfold, Prophet Peter K has asked for continued prayers and maintained that he will not step back from his spiritual mission, despite the current challenges.
