Rachael Otuoma has responded to recent rumors claiming that she has already moved on with another man, just weeks after burying her late husband, Ezekiel Otuoma. The content creator addressed the speculation in a heartfelt interview with Nailantei Kenga on the Art of Living show, where she firmly denied any romantic involvement with TikToker, The Manace, who had been linked to her. According to Rachael, their relationship is purely platonic, and she is still grieving the loss of her husband.
In the interview, Rachael explained that while she and The Manace share a close friendship, the rumors about them being romantically involved were entirely unfounded. “I’m going with the flow that I am dating. That’s what they want to see. But I’m not dating,” she clarified. Rachael emphasized that people have misunderstood her bond with The Manace, insisting that he is simply a good friend who cares for her. “He looks good, but no, I wouldn’t date him because he is my good friend,” she added.
Rachael has been in the public eye since her husband’s passing, and she opened up about the emotional strain that online criticism has had on her. Many social media users have been harsh, accusing her of moving on too quickly or speculating about her personal life without knowing the facts. Rachael, however, believes that much of the negativity stems from jealousy. “People are harsh on social media. Most of them are jealous of me. They didn’t expect me to come out as a strong woman after all that happened to me,” she said. “They thought I would start begging after everything.”
Rachael has made it clear that she is focused on her own healing and growth. “I am a different person, focused on building myself, making my money, and being happy. Jealousy will kill them. They want to bring me down because I no longer beg,” she shared, reflecting on her new, empowered outlook on life. Despite the strength she shows publicly, Rachael admitted that the grief of losing her husband still weighs heavily on her. “Sometimes, I do cry. Mourning is a process, and I am yet to heal from it,” she confessed, her voice breaking as she spoke about the ongoing emotional toll.
Ezekiel Otuoma, a respected footballer, passed away after battling a prolonged illness. Rachael has continued to honor his memory, using her platform to share her journey of grief and resilience with her followers. While she is determined to remain strong, she acknowledged that the healing process is not immediate.
Rachael also shared that she has no intention of removing her wedding ring, as she sees the love she shared with her late husband as eternal. During his funeral, she expressed that no man could ever replace Ezekiel, and she promised to continue loving and caring for her mother-in-law as a tribute to her husband’s memory.
In the midst of this difficult period, Rachael’s focus remains on her emotional recovery and the legacy of love and strength that she continues to build in honor of her late husband.
