Residents in Murgor Hills, Tiret, Kaplemur, Kaptebee, and surrounding areas will experience power interruptions from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Nyeri County
A larger portion of Nyeri County will be affected by an extended blackout from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The areas impacted include:
- Nyeri Town and Surrounding Areas: Kangemi, Asian Quarters, Witemere, Temple Road, Outspan Hospital, Golf Club, and Nyeri Polytechnic.
- Residential and Educational Institutions: Green Hills, Ngangarithi, Gitero, Kiandere, Wandumbi, Kagwathi, Kamakwa, Nyeri High School, and Kimathi University.
- Commercial and Industrial Locations: Coca-Cola depot, Highlands, King’ong’o Prison, Mt. Kenya Academy, Good Shepherd, and several farms and estates.
- Karatina and Its Environs: Karatina Town, Karindundu, Kiawariga, Ngorano, Tumutumu Hospital, Kiamariga, and Gatunganga.
- Mukurweini and Adjacent Areas: Mukurweini Town, Icamara Market, Thangathi Market, Mihuti, Ngamwa, and Mukurweini Technical Institute.
