Kenya Power has announced a scheduled power interruption set to affect various areas in Nairobi, Kisumu, Murang’a, and Uasin Gishu counties on Saturday, March 29. The planned outage, which will take place at different times between 9 AM and 5 PM, is aimed at facilitating system maintenance to enhance service reliability.
The power distributor advised affected customers to make the necessary arrangements to avoid inconveniences during the period of disruption. Below is a breakdown of the affected areas in each county.
Nairobi County
Residents and businesses along Road A and Likoni Road will experience an outage from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key installations expected to be affected include:

Kisumu County (Western Region)
Parts of Maseno will be affected by a power outage from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. Key installations and areas include:

- Desert and adjacent customers
Murang’a County (Mt Kenya Region)
Power will be interrupted in Murang’a Town and surrounding areas from 9 AM to 5 PM. Critical institutions that will be affected include:
