The affected regions span six counties: Nairobi, West Pokot, Kakamega, Tharaka Nithi, Kitui, and Kwale. The interruptions will last between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM in most areas, with some variations depending on the location.
Nairobi
Several areas in Nairobi will experience power outages from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. These include NSSF, West Park, Unga House, Muthithi Road, GTC, Avocado Villas, Pride Inn, J. Arcade, Posta, and Woodvale Road, along with adjacent customers. Other affected areas include Ngina Road, Sam West Distributors, Mariro Flats, and parts of Kikuyu Road.
In Umoja, certain locations will experience longer power interruptions, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. These include Umoja 2 East, St. Veronica Catholic Church, Busara Primary, Peter Kibukosya Primary and Secondary School, and Tumaini Primary.
West Pokot
Residents in parts of West Pokot should expect power interruptions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The affected areas include Wakor, Marich Pass, Sigor, Lomut, Orwa, Sarmach, and Kainuk.
Kakamega
Several locations in Kakamega will experience power outages from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. These include Lurambi Primary, the Meteorological Site, Maraba Primary, Maramba East, Shikhambi, and Bukhulunya, along with surrounding customers.
Tharaka Nithi
Power outages in Tharaka Nithi will last from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Affected areas include Kathwana Market, the County Headquarters, Komarock Hospital, Matiri Market, St. Osora, Nkarini Market, and Maweni Primary.
Kitui
Parts of Kitui will experience power interruptions from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Affected locations include Kunda Kendu, Mosquito, Ginnery, Wikililye, Kisasi, Ikanga Mbitini, Voo, Kyuluni, Maluma, Nzangathi, Miambani, Kamandio, Inyuu, Nzombe, and Kyamatu.
Kwale
In Kwale, power interruptions will occur between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Affected areas include Mwachema, Tiwi Sokoni, Kombani, Matuga, Coast Calcium, and Ngombeni, along with adjacent customers.
