Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has assured Kenyans that the Kenya Kwanza administration is committed to ensuring the fair distribution of national resources across all parts of the country. Speaking during an interdenominational service at Mutenkuar Primary School in Kilgoris, Narok County, on Sunday, Kindiki emphasized the government’s focus on equity and equality in service delivery.
He reiterated that no region in Kenya would be discriminated against based on how they voted in the 2022 general elections. The DP underscored the administration’s commitment to ensuring that all communities, counties, and constituencies have equal access to government resources and opportunities.
“The Ruto administration is dedicated to fairness in the distribution of national resources. We aim to ensure that every community, every county, and every individual is treated equally and has the opportunity to benefit from government programs and services,” Kindiki stated.
The Deputy President pointed out that political competition during elections should not determine how citizens are treated afterward. He emphasized that, despite political differences, the government’s role is to serve all Kenyans, regardless of their political affiliations.
“We are all here because it is God’s plan that we live as one nation,” he said, reinforcing the need for national unity post-election. Kindiki also took the opportunity to thank President William Ruto for reaching out to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, whose collaboration with the government has helped to reduce political tensions in the country.
“Elections are over. The government is now focused on serving all Kenyans. There will be no discrimination because of how people voted,” Kindiki added. He emphasized that the priority of the government is to address the needs of the people and work together to develop the country.
The Deputy President’s remarks were supported by several political leaders in attendance, including Narok Governor Patrick ole Ntutu and MPs Julius Sunkuli and Gabriel Tongoyo. The event highlighted the administration’s commitment to promoting unity and equitable development across Kenya.
