Governor Kachapin Commissions Key Projects in Siyoi Ward, Emphasizes Education and Infrastructure Development

Governor Simon Kachapin has commissioned several significant projects in Siyoi Ward, aiming to enhance safety, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and serve the community effectively. The projects include educational facilities and critical infrastructure to support local agriculture and mitigate flooding.

During the ceremony, Governor Kachapin emphasized that education remains the county’s top priority. He inaugurated Early Childhood Education Centres in Kamariny and Kaprech and three high school classrooms at Kaprech. “Good education standards are essential,” Kachapin stated, highlighting education as a cornerstone for developing better citizens who can distinguish between good and bad and understand the value of hard work.

In addition to the educational projects, the governor commissioned the Kamariny-Kaptoposwo and Katilal-Kamariny roads. These roads are expected to improve the transportation of agricultural produce, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to markets. “Proper transportation infrastructure is vital for our farmers,” Kachapin said, noting that these roads would help boost the local economy by facilitating market access.

Their presence underscored the collaborative effort in advancing the county’s development agenda.
