In response to the gruesome discovery of over 10 mutilated bodies in Mukuru kwa Njenga, Acting Inspector General Douglas Kanja has taken decisive action by transferring all police officers stationed at Kware Police Station near the abandoned quarry where the bodies were found. Speaking to the press, IG Kanja emphasized the necessity of this step to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of justice. “To ensure fair and unbiased investigations, I have moved the officers from Kware Police Station,” he stated. Assuring transparency and urgency, IG Kanja promised that the investigations would be expedited, aiming for completion within the next 21 days. “Our officers in collaboration with the ODPP are working tirelessly to conclude the investigations within 21 days,” he affirmed.
