Israeli Military Implements “Tactical Pause” for Aid Distribution in Southern Gaza

The Israeli military has implemented a “tactical pause” in military operations along a specific route in southern Gaza to facilitate the distribution of aid. This initiative, which commenced on Saturday, involves a daily cessation of military activity from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. The pause aims to allow trucks carrying aid to move from the Kerem Shalom Crossing, a crucial entry point for humanitarian supplies into southern Gaza, along the Salah al-Din Road northwards. However, the IDF emphasized that this pause does not indicate a broader cessation of fighting, particularly in and around Rafah in southern Gaza, where military operations continue unabated.
