Tanzanian actress Jacqueline Wolper has publicly confirmed her separation from her husband, Rich Mitindo, stating that she is in the process of finalizing their divorce. The announcement came through an Instagram post, where Wolper expressed gratitude for the support and messages she has received from her followers during this challenging time.
Wolper and Mitindo, who became engaged in 2021, married in a lavish ceremony in 2022 that garnered attention from celebrities, politicians, and close family members. The high-profile wedding, which was widely celebrated, has now come to a bittersweet end, as the couple moves forward with their separation.
In her heartfelt message to her fans, Wolper conveyed her appreciation for the kindness and well-wishes sent her way, saying, “Mungu awabariki wote mnao nitakia mema, na hata wale wenye nia tofauti na njema pia mbarikiwe” (God bless all of you who wish me well, and even those with different intentions). She further assured her supporters that her heart was at peace, reassuring them, “Naomba niwatoe wasiwasi na mashaka juu ya furaha na amani ya moyo wangu” (I want to put to rest any worries or doubts about the peace and happiness in my heart).
Wolper made it clear that although the marriage had come to an end, she and Mitindo will continue to co-parent their children with mutual respect. “Tutabaki kuheshimiana kama wazazi na kulea watoto wetu” (We will continue to respect each other as parents and raise our children), she emphasized, before clarifying, “Swala la mahusiano ya ndoa hilo halipo” (The issue of marriage is no longer there).
In a final request for privacy, the actress asked that matters concerning her estranged husband be kept away from her life, as they no longer have a connection. Wolper concluded her message with appreciation for her fans, saying, “Nawapenda sana nashukuru kwa msg zenu nyingi za kunitia moyo” (I love you all very much and thank you for your many encouraging messages).
As Wolper moves forward, she is prioritizing her peace and well-being, focusing on healing and maintaining the respect and love she shares with her children.
