Tanzanian musician Juma Jux’s girlfriend, Nigerian content creator and businesswoman Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, has touched down in Tanzania ahead of their highly anticipated wedding. Priscilla received a warm welcome from Jux at the airport on Monday morning, setting the stage for what promises to be a momentous year for the couple.
The pair, who have been openly showcasing their romance since last year, are planning to tie the knot in a series of ceremonies set to take place in both Tanzania and Nigeria. The lovebirds have garnered much attention on social media, with fans eagerly following their journey.
In a brief interview at the airport, Priscilla shared her excitement about their upcoming wedding, revealing that they will celebrate their union in both her home country, Nigeria, and Jux’s native Tanzania. When asked what she loves most about her musician partner, Priscilla had nothing but praise: “I love that he is very humble, very sweet, he’s amazing—he’s just perfect.”
The couple’s relationship has been a subject of media speculation, especially after Juma Jux’s visit to Nigeria in September last year. During this visit, Priscilla’s mother referred to her daughter as a “wife,” sparking rumors that the couple had gotten engaged. The traditional attire they wore during the visit further fueled the speculation, as such outfits are commonly seen at pre-wedding ceremonies.
While the media frenzy has continued, Jux has remained tight-lipped about the engagement rumors, saying he prefers to keep certain aspects of his life private. He promised, however, to share more details when the time is right: “Some things are private. If you see I haven’t shared them on social media, it’s because I want to keep them private for now.”
Jux also expressed appreciation for the love Priscilla receives from her family and fans in Nigeria, acknowledging their protective stance: “She is loved in Nigeria. She is treated well, and people are protective of her. I understand their concerns, especially since I’ve been seen in different relationships.”
