The nation is mourning the passing of Malava Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi, who died on Monday while receiving treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi. His passing was confirmed by the Clerk of the National Assembly, though an official statement was yet to be issued at the time of reporting.
Hon. Malulu Injendi had been serving as the Member of Parliament for Malava Constituency since 2013, making his tenure span three consecutive terms. He was also the Vice Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research, where he played a crucial role in shaping policies that impacted education and research sectors in the country.
