A preacher accused of sodomy remains at large two years after a case was reported to the police in Nakuru. Prophet Peter K of the Christ Impact Church in Ruiru is wanted by law enforcement over allegations of sexually assaulting a young man in 2022. Despite an arrest order issued on March 3, 2025, the suspect has not been apprehended.
The victim, identified as Dylan (not his real name), recently shared his harrowing ordeal with Citizen TV, recounting how he was lured into the preacher’s trap. Dylan, now in his mid-thirties, was offered a job as a driver by Prophet Peter K. The preacher, who was a regular customer, had requested Dylan to transport his church members to Wanyororo in Nakuru County. However, the meeting took an unexpected turn.
Dylan recalled that on the fateful day, he was invited into a van where he was given alcohol. Two associates of the preacher also joined them. Unaware of the preacher’s ulterior motives, Dylan consumed the drink and soon lost consciousness. He woke up in excruciating pain, realizing that he had been sodomized by the suspect.
Shocked and traumatized, Dylan reported the incident to the Central Police Station in Nakuru in May 2022. A medical examination report confirmed blunt trauma to the anal region, supporting his claims. Despite the evidence and the report to authorities, the suspect continues to evade arrest.
“Police wetu wanadelay na hii maneno. Kutoka 2022 sijapata justice, anafanya wengine vile wanataka… niko na hiyo trauma,” Dylan lamented, expressing frustration over the slow pace of justice.
His mother, equally distraught, pleaded for justice, stating, “Naomba haki yetu. Hata mimi niliskia juzi na majirani, sikujua mambo hiyo nikashangaa.”
Nakuru East Deputy Sub-County Commander Sheila Kegode confirmed that the police are actively pursuing the preacher and that investigations are at an advanced stage. However, efforts to reach Prophet Peter K for comment have been unsuccessful, as he remains unreachable by phone.
The case has sparked public outrage, with calls for swift action from authorities to ensure justice for Dylan and prevent further victimization by the suspect.
