Radio presenter Sheila Kwambox is advising against sharing family secrets with partners during intimate conversations, commonly known as pillow talk. Kwambox emphasizes that family matters should be kept within the family, regardless of the closeness one feels with their partner.
During a podcast episode, Kwambox expressed her belief that divulging family secrets, even in the heat of passion, is inappropriate. She illustrated her point with an example, questioning the wisdom of sharing such sensitive information after being intimate with someone. She stressed the sanctity of familial bonds and questioned the logic behind sharing intimate family details with a romantic partner.
When asked if her stance applied only to casual relationships or also to committed partnerships, Kwambox asserted that it didn’t matter. She firmly stated that unless the person one is sharing secrets with is going to be there to support and bury them, such disclosures are disrespectful to one’s family.
Kwambox concluded by stating that she judges people based on how they speak about their long-term family relationships, highlighting the importance of respecting and maintaining familial bonds.
