Deputy Governor Chebule and Health CEC Mwarogo reiterated the county’s dedication to public health and the importance of collaborative efforts in combating malaria. The leaders acknowledged that effective healthcare delivery requires ongoing evaluation and adaptation of strategies to meet the needs of the population.
The distribution of mosquito nets is part of a comprehensive approach to malaria prevention, which includes community education on the proper use of nets, regular monitoring, and treatment of malaria cases. By focusing on preventive measures, Kilifi County aims to reduce the incidence of malaria and its associated health impacts.
The initiative is also aligned with national health goals and reflects the government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and services. The collaboration between county and national leadership demonstrates a unified effort to tackle health challenges and promote the well-being of all citizens.
As the distribution of treated mosquito nets continues, it is expected to have a significant impact on malaria control efforts in Kilifi County and beyond.
