Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza Disburses Ksh 6 Million in Scholarships to Needy Students

Meru County, Governor Kawira Mwangaza has disbursed Ksh 6 million worth of scholarships to 300 needy students. The scholarships were awarded to children from all wards in Imenti North, Imenti Central, and Imenti South Sub-Counties, ensuring that these students can complete their education without financial strain.

During the ceremony held at Kinoru Stadium, Governor Mwangaza emphasized the importance of education and the role of the scholarship fund in alleviating the financial burden on parents. She noted that the fund aims to support secondary school students with Ksh 10,000 each and college and university students with Ksh 30,000 each.
