Migori Police Hunt for Man Accused of Killing His Wife Over Marital Wrangles

Migori County, police are on the hunt for a 25-year-old man accused of brutally killing his 19-year-old wife. The suspect, identified as Asman Ouma, allegedly killed Akoth Onyango following a series of marital disputes. The victim’s body was found dumped in a bush a few kilometers from their home, bearing injuries that suggest she was strangled to death.

According to Omondi, he received a call from Ouma on Tuesday morning, during which Ouma confessed to the murder. Ouma revealed that he had killed his wife and even notified his family about the location where he had disposed of her body. In a harrowing twist, Ouma also indicated his intention to end his own life, promising to inform his family of the location where they could find his body.
