Kaiti MP Joshua Kimilu has made a heartfelt appeal to secondary school principals in his constituency, urging them not to send students home due to unpaid fees. Speaking at a fundraising event for Mukuyuni Catholic Church held at Mukuyuni Primary School on Sunday, Kimilu assured the school administrators that financial relief is on the way.
Kimilu highlighted his commitment to education by revealing that he has recently completed the disbursement of bursaries to college students and is now focusing on secondary school students. This move, he believes, will help mitigate the financial strain on schools and ensure that no student misses out on their education due to economic hardships.
“I have finished giving bursaries to students in colleges; now I have initiated the disbursement of money to students in secondary schools to pay their fees. I therefore urge principals in my area to allow students to continue with their learning,” Kimilu stated. In addition to addressing educational concerns, Kimilu also touched on infrastructure development within his constituency.
