Authorities have made significant progress in the investigation into the death of “Friends” actor Matthew Perry, who passed away last October. A law enforcement source revealed on Tuesday that the investigation is “nearing its conclusion,” and multiple individuals could potentially face charges related to Perry’s death. The US Attorney’s Office, when approached, had no comment on the matter.
In May, TMZ reported that law enforcement began investigating the source of the ketamine found in Perry’s system, involving both local police and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The Los Angeles Police Department initially launched an investigation late last year but closed it in January. Perry’s autopsy revealed he had 3.54 micrograms per milliliter of ketamine, almost three times the normal amount, at the time of his death.
