Nikita Kering, Sanaipei Tande, and Bensoul Among Stars to Perform at Blankets & Wine on July 28

In an exciting update for music lovers, Blankets & Wine has rescheduled its July edition, now set to take place on Sunday, July 28. This change follows potential security threats that prompted the festival organizers to rethink their initial date of Sunday, July 7.

Muthoni the Drummer Queen, CEO of Blankets & Wine, explained that the coincidence with ‘The New Saba Saba’ theme and associated security concerns were key reasons for the postponement. Additionally, the Shujaaz Memorial Concert, held on the same date at Uhuru Park, likely influenced the decision. This event drew thousands of Kenyan youth to the CBD, where they paid homage to innocent lives lost due to brutal state actions against peaceful protesters over the past three weeks.
