An Ohio man is facing serious charges after allegedly causing the death of a 1-year-old girl by repeatedly slamming her head onto the floor when she wouldn’t stop crying. The incident occurred on December 5, 2024, and the baby girl succumbed to her injuries two weeks later.
Michael Mayor, 34, was arrested on December 11 after investigators determined he was responsible for the child’s severe injuries. Initially, Mayor was charged with six felonies, including felonious assault and child endangerment.
