During our visit, minimal snow conditions redirected our attention from skiing to a carriage ride around the resort’s grounds. Pulled by a regal Belgian draft horse, the stately carriage navigated the scenic estate. When snow permits, this ride transforms into a dreamy sleigh ride, evoking classic holiday imagery.
For guests seeking relaxation, the resort’s 25,000-square-foot spa is an oasis of tranquility. Offering 13 treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room, and outdoor whirlpools, it’s an ideal way to unwind after outdoor adventures. Soaking in the whirlpool while snowflakes softly blanketed the grounds was an experience to savor.
Dining at the Omni Mount Washington Resort is nothing short of exceptional. The 1902 Main Dining Room, named for the hotel’s opening year, provides a blend of exquisite cuisine and stunning views. Our breakfast featured an elaborate buffet, complete with a chicken and waffles bar, while dinner showcased culinary delights like braised short ribs and crab-crusted cod.
