Passengers Caught Trying to Pass Grenades Through Security at Pittsburgh International Airport

Security agents at Pittsburgh International Airport intercepted two passengers attempting to bring grenades aboard their flights on Wednesday. According to TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein, one passenger was found with a smoke grenade, while another carried an inert explosives grenade.

The incidents unfolded at the security checkpoint where TSA agents discovered the prohibited items in the passengers’ luggage. One man was carrying a hand grenade, mistakenly believing he could pass through security with it.

The Transportation Security Administration (T TSA) emphasized the seriousness of the breaches and reiterated the importance of adhering to security regulations to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew members.
