The Kenya Special Operations Group (SOG) conducted a successful intelligence-led operation on Saturday, November 30, in Garissa’s Fafi area. The elite team uncovered and destroyed a makeshift logistics store used by the al Shabaab terror group.
The operation, carried out near the Kenya-Somalia border, underscores the ongoing efforts of security agencies to dismantle terror networks in the region. The destroyed camp, though temporary, played a crucial role in facilitating al Shabaab’s operations. According to police reports, no arrests or injuries occurred during the operation, highlighting its precise execution.
