Bondo, Siaya County – In a shocking midnight incident, a police officer receiving treatment at Bondo Sub-County Hospital stabbed two fellow patients, causing panic and distress within the facility. The officer, attached to Aram Police Station in Rarieda Sub-County, had been admitted to the male ward on Tuesday before turning violent hours later.
According to hospital management, the attack occurred at around midnight when screams from the ward alerted nurses and a clinical officer on duty. Rushing to the scene, the medical staff found that the officer had already inflicted severe injuries on two patients and was advancing towards a third victim. The victims, a 14-year-old boy who suffered a stab wound to the neck and a 20-year-old man who sustained injuries to the chest, were left reeling in pain as the attacker continued his rampage.

The hospital staff raised an alarm, summoning additional personnel who managed to subdue the officer, who was still brandishing the knife. He was subsequently restrained and handed over to responding police officers.
