The notice, which cites Article 152 (5) (a) of the Constitution, outlines Mudavadi’s new responsibilities. “That pursuant to Article 152 (5) (a) of the Constitution, Hon. Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi, E.G.H., is assigned as the Acting Cabinet Secretary in all vacant ministerial portfolios,” the gazette notice states.
President Ruto’s decision to dismiss all his Cabinet Secretaries was formally communicated, marking the end of the tenure for the 21 Cabinet posts and that of the Attorney General.
