Miracle Baby’s Gospel Journey: From Hospital Bed to One Million Views

Former Gengetone and Mugithi artist, Miracle Baby, has reached a remarkable milestone with his first gospel song hitting one million views on YouTube. The artist, who has recently declared himself a pastor, expressed his gratitude and joy for the warm reception from his fans.

A New Beginning

Miracle Baby, whose real name is Peter, transitioned from popular secular music genres to gospel after a significant health battle. Earlier this year, he spent nearly three months in the hospital due to a recurring bowel issue, undergoing multiple surgeries. This challenging period led to a profound transformation in his life and career.

A Grateful Heart

Through his social media channels, Miracle Baby shared his heartfelt thanks with his supporters. “Thank you so much for helping us reach 1 million views. Now I see the gospel of the Lord advancing,” he stated. His message highlights his appreciation for the positive reception and support from his audience in his new gospel music journey.

The Journey to Recovery and Faith

Miracle Baby’s gospel debut, “Ndi Mwiria,” was released two months ago in collaboration with his partner, Carol Katrue. The song’s success is particularly poignant given the artist’s recent health struggles. From mid-January to April, Miracle Baby was hospitalized, undergoing over three surgeries to address his medical condition. This difficult experience catalyzed his decision to turn to gospel music and dedicate his life to serving God.

A Declaration of Faith

Upon his discharge from the hospital, Miracle Baby announced his newfound mission to serve God. “I said I want to be a pastor and preach, you understand me. But preaching comes in many forms; one can preach through songs because someone like me, right now, I don’t have a church or a place to establish a church,” he explained. His declaration underscores his commitment to spreading the gospel, even without a physical church.

Looking Forward

Despite not having a church building yet, Miracle Baby is optimistic about the future. He believes that if it is God’s will, he will eventually find a place to establish a church, which he is confident will grow and attract believers. “I know if God wills, He will give me a place to set up a church, and it will grow. Once I get a place to establish a church, I know believers will surely come. Therefore, I have started my journey through music,” he said.
