The Kasuku Cup was launched three years ago to honor Elisha Kasuku, a veteran professional golfer who has been a stalwart of the sport in Kenya since 1959. This year’s tournament had a special focus on supporting less fortunate caddies in the community and growing the Junior Golf Foundation, an initiative that Kasuku was instrumental in founding.
The tournament’s success underscores its dual purpose: celebrating golf and making a positive impact on the community. With its growing popularity and significant charitable contributions, the Kasuku Cup continues to build on its legacy, promising even greater achievements in the years to come.
The support from KCB Asset Management and the enthusiasm of the participants ensure that the Kasuku Cup will remain a cherished event in Kenya’s golfing landscape, combining competitive spirit with a commitment to community development. As golfers and supporters look forward to next year’s event, the impact of this year’s tournament will undoubtedly be felt for years to come.
