Safaricom Schedules M-PESA Maintenance for June 24, 2024

Safaricom PLC has announced a scheduled maintenance for its widely used mobile money service, M-PESA. The maintenance will take place on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. During this 30-minute period, all M-PESA services will be temporarily unavailable.

Other Safaricom services, such as calls, data, and SMS, will remain fully operational and will not be affected by the maintenance.

Minimizing Customer Disruption

The timing of this maintenance has been strategically planned to occur during off-peak hours, minimizing disruption to customers. Safaricom aims to ensure the least inconvenience to its users while maintaining and upgrading its systems for better reliability.
