According to the KNEC instructions, the time allocated for each paper is specified next to its name, with no additional time permitted except for Braille users, who receive an extra 30 minutes. The time allocated includes reading through the questions unless otherwise stated by special paper instructions.

“The time allowed for each paper is indicated against the name of the paper and NO EXTRA TIME IS TO BE ALLOWED apart from learners using Braille who will be added 30 minutes. Time for reading through questions is part of the time shown on the question paper except where special paper instructions indicate differently,” wrote KNEC.
