AMREF International University Celebrates its 5th Graduation Ceremony with 438 New Graduates

AMREF International University (AMIU) marked a significant milestone on Friday, July 19, as it held its 5th graduation ceremony at its Northlands Farm campus on Thika Road. The event, themed “Embracing Diversity and Disruptive Technologies for Sustainable Pan-African Workforce Training,” highlighted the university’s commitment to advancing education and fostering a future-ready workforce.

The ceremony saw a total of 438 graduands awarded certificates of merit across various academic levels. The graduating class included 31 certificate students, 107 diploma students, 104 higher diploma students, 12 advanced diploma students, 150 undergraduate students, and 28 postgraduate students. Each of these graduates has demonstrated dedication and perseverance in their respective fields, ready to contribute to the workforce with enhanced skills and knowledge.

The Vice Chancellor of AMREF International University addressed the assembly, offering heartfelt congratulations to the graduates. “Our graduands not only have the knowledge and the skills for the job market but also the values necessary for making the world a better place to live in. They are true ambassadors of the Amref spirit of Ubuntu,” the Vice Chancellor stated. This sentiment underscores the university’s ethos of nurturing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also socially responsible.

The graduation ceremony was a celebration of not only academic achievement but also the university’s role in embracing and integrating modern educational practices.
