Andrew Kibe Sounds Alarm on Salasya’s Interest in Huddah Monroe

Kenyan YouTuber Andrew Kibe has taken a jab at Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya for his ongoing and public infatuation with socialite Huddah Monroe. In his usual no-holds-barred style, Kibe issued a warning to Salasya, emphasizing that navigating relationships with city women, especially those of Huddah’s caliber, requires a level of caution and savvy that may be beyond the reach of many.

Kibe’s remarks were a pointed critique of Salasya’s attempts to woo Huddah, suggesting that the MP might be out of his depth. “Dust is constant, especially for those who have struggled from nothing to something, particularly guys from rural areas,” Kibe commented, highlighting the vulnerability of those who have risen to prominence from humble beginnings. “They face the wrath of city women. City women are not to be toyed with; they can only be handled by a serious, serious, serious Nairobi man,” he added, underscoring the challenges that come with navigating the social dynamics of the city.

Salasya, who has been openly admiring Huddah Monroe for a while, recently made headlines with his bold declaration of wanting to meet the socialite, who often spends her time abroad. However, Huddah was quick to set some lofty expectations, making it clear that a meeting would come at a high cost. According to Huddah, Salasya would need to be prepared to spend a substantial amount of money on a luxurious encounter at a five-star restaurant to gain her attention.

Among her demands, Huddah specified that Salasya must arrange a warm personal reception complete with a stay at a presidential suite filled with her favorite orange roses. Additionally, she stipulated a greeting fee of Ksh 3,870,000 ($30,000). She further insisted on privacy, stating that she did not want any Isukuti dance, a traditional Luhya dance often used to welcome dignitaries, at the airport.

“My meetings are usually at JW Marriott, in the presidential suite filled with orange roses. And $30,000 for greetings, or I won’t speak the entire time,” Huddah stated emphatically. These demands come just days after Salasya had publicly expressed his desire to meet her, and while Huddah’s terms may seem excessive to many, they underscore her confidence and her position as a socialite who knows her worth.

Undeterred by Huddah’s demands, Salasya has been making plans to meet her on her terms. In a bid to make their first encounter truly memorable, the MP turned to his social media followers, asking for recommendations on where to find the best vendors for fresh roses, the most luxurious hotel in town, and a top-notch videographer to capture the anticipated meeting.

“I’m on the lookout for the best flower vendors in town; only fresh roses will do, with the passion of a man on a mission. I’m also searching for the most luxurious hotel with breathtaking surroundings and, of course, the best videographer in the city,” Salasya said, highlighting his determination to go above and beyond to impress Huddah.

This public pursuit has sparked mixed reactions, with some viewing Salasya’s efforts as an admirable show of determination and others seeing it as a misguided attempt at romance. Andrew Kibe’s cautionary words reflect a broader sentiment about the complexities of dealing with city women, especially those in the limelight like Huddah Monroe. As this saga unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Salasya’s grand gestures will pay off or if Kibe’s warnings will prove prophetic. In either case, the story continues to captivate the public, offering a fascinating glimpse into the intersection of politics, social media, and celebrity culture in Kenya.
